The Social Media Bottleneck

If you run a marketing team at a growing company, this routine is painfully familiar: draft a post in one tool, resize the image in another, paste it into Facebook, tweak the copy for Instagram, schedule both in a third tool, then check analytics in yet another dashboard next week. Multiply that by five posts per week, two platforms, and a review cycle that lives in Slack threads and email chains, and your team is spending more time coordinating than creating.

The core problem is not a lack of content ideas. It is the operational overhead of moving a single piece of content from draft to published post to performance report — across platforms, across approval chains, and across disconnected tools.

Today we are shipping a comprehensive solution: 17 new MCP tools, 14 AI recipes, 6 automated workflows, and a visual Content Calendar that bring Facebook and Instagram content publishing directly into JieGou. This is end-to-end social media automation with the same governance controls your organization already relies on.

17 MCP Tools: Direct Platform Control

JieGou already supports Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM as two of its 12 messaging channels. These new tools extend that foundation from conversation to content publishing — giving your AI workflows the ability to create, schedule, analyze, and manage posts natively.

14 Recipes in the Social Content Pack

Recipes are single-task AI prompts that you can run on demand or embed inside workflows. The new Social Content pack ships with 14 recipes designed for the day-to-day work of content teams:

  • Post Writer — Generate platform-native post copy from a brief or topic
  • Caption Generator — Write engaging captions tuned for Instagram or Facebook tone
  • Content Repurposer — Adapt a long-form article into multiple social-ready snippets
  • Carousel Planner — Outline slide-by-slide content for Instagram carousels
  • Hashtag Researcher — Analyze hashtag performance and suggest optimal tag sets
  • Performance Analyzer — Summarize post metrics and surface actionable insights
  • Weekly Planner — Draft a full week of content ideas mapped to your editorial calendar
  • Comment Responder — Generate on-brand replies to audience comments
  • A/B Content Evaluator — Compare two post variants and recommend the stronger option
  • Blog-to-Social Converter — Transform a blog post into a series of social media posts
  • Comment Moderator — Flag toxic or off-brand comments and draft moderation actions
  • Reel & Story Planner — Script short-form video content with hooks and CTAs
  • Cross-Platform Analytics Reporter — Merge Facebook and Instagram data into one report
  • Competitor Content Analyzer — Analyze competitor posting patterns and engagement

Each recipe can be customized with your brand voice, audience segments, and content guidelines via JieGou’s knowledge base and prompt engineering tools.

6 Workflows: From Draft to Dashboard

Where recipes handle individual tasks, workflows chain them together with logic, approvals, and scheduling. These six workflows cover the most common social media operations:

Content Publish Pipeline (with Approval Gates)

This is the flagship workflow. It takes a content brief, runs it through the Post Writer recipe, generates platform-specific variants for Facebook and Instagram, routes them through a configurable approval gate, and publishes on approval. If rejected, the workflow loops back to revision with the reviewer’s notes attached.

The approval gate is the key differentiator. Most social media tools either auto-publish or require manual copy-paste after review. JieGou’s approval step pauses the workflow execution, notifies the designated reviewer, and only resumes when the content is explicitly approved — with the full decision recorded in the audit log. For regulated industries or brand-sensitive content, this is not optional.

Additional Workflows

  • Weekly Performance Review — Automatically pulls insights from both platforms every Monday, runs the Performance Analyzer and Cross-Platform Analytics Reporter recipes, and delivers a summary to your team’s Slack channel or email
  • A/B Test & Publish — Publishes two content variants, waits a configured period, compares performance, and promotes the winner to additional distribution
  • Auto-Publish from Blog — Monitors your blog RSS feed or knowledge base, runs new posts through the Blog-to-Social Converter, and publishes the results on a schedule. This single workflow eliminates the most repetitive task on most content teams: manually reformatting blog content for social channels
  • Comment Moderation Pipeline — Scans incoming comments in batches, flags items that violate your brand guidelines, auto-hides clearly toxic content, and queues borderline comments for human review
  • Cross-Platform Analytics Report — A scheduled workflow that aggregates weekly or monthly metrics from both platforms into a single structured report, ready for stakeholder distribution

The Content Calendar

All scheduled and published content is visible in a new Content Calendar page with week and month views. Posts are color-coded by platform (blue for Facebook, pink for Instagram), with status badges showing draft, scheduled, published, or failed states. Click any item to preview the full post including media.

The calendar supports drag-to-reschedule — move a post to a different date and the underlying schedule updates automatically. Combined with the approval workflow, this gives content managers a visual command center where they can see the full pipeline at a glance and make adjustments without switching tools.

Blog-to-Social: The Killer Workflow

Of all the new capabilities, the Auto-Publish from Blog workflow deserves special attention. Most marketing teams already invest heavily in blog content, but the conversion from blog to social posts is almost always manual — a team member reads the article, pulls out key quotes, writes platform-specific copy, and schedules it across channels.

This workflow automates the entire chain. When a new blog post appears, the Blog-to-Social Converter recipe extracts the core arguments, generates a Facebook post with a link preview, creates an Instagram carousel outline from the key takeaways, and drafts a Reel script from the most compelling section. The Content Publish Pipeline picks up from there, routing everything through approval before publishing.

For teams that publish two or more blog posts per week, this workflow alone can reclaim several hours of content coordination time.
