Definition
The NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF) is a voluntary framework published by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in AI systems. It is organized around four core functions: Govern (policies and oversight), Map (context and risk identification), Measure (risk assessment and tracking), and Manage (risk treatment and response).
