Prove every number in the reports you send

Tally is a report auditor, not a report builder. It independently recomputes every figure from your source data, catches the ones that don't tie out, and gives you a ✓ verified version you can share — where anyone can click a number and see the exact rows behind it.

What it does

One job, per number you're about to show someone

Generating a report is commodity work now. Proving the numbers is not — and that's the whole of what Tally does.

Verify

A number that’s right

Every figure gets a ✓ and its receipt — recomputed from the rows underneath, so you can click any number and see exactly where it came from.

Catch

A number that’s wrong

Tally flags it with an ✗, shows the true value, and points at the rows that prove it — before the report goes out, not after a client disputes it.

Prove

A number people will argue with

Share a “✓ Verified as of ‹date›” version. The recipient clicks any figure and sees the source themselves — the dispute ends at the receipt.

"Verified" that means something

Elsewhere, a "verified" badge means a colleague clicked a button. In Tally it means a separate engine recomputed every figure from your data and can show you the exact rows behind each one. It's a mechanical check, not a ceremony — and it runs entirely in your browser, so your spreadsheet never leaves your machine.

Where we are

Today, and what's next

We're honest about what's live and what's coming. The engine is proven; the surfaces are shipping in order.

Today

Check a report against its own source

Point Tally at a spreadsheet. It re-adds every summary, total, and chart from the raw rows underneath and shows you what doesn’t tie out — entirely in your browser, so the file never leaves your machine.

Next

Match it against QuickBooks

The harder question: does your report agree with your books — or your CRM, or last month’s file? The cross-source tie-out is what we’re building now (proven against live QuickBooks in testing).

Later

Build the report for you

Describe the report you need and get it back with every figure already verified against the source — generation where a wrong number is impossible by construction.

Try it on your own spreadsheet

Free, no account, nothing to install. Drop in a spreadsheet and watch every figure get checked against its source — right in your browser.
