AI Readiness

Definition

AI readiness is a measure of an organization's preparedness to adopt, deploy, and sustain AI automation. It encompasses technical infrastructure (data quality, API integrations, security posture), organizational factors (leadership buy-in, AI literacy, change management), and governance maturity (policies, compliance frameworks, audit capabilities). Organizations with high AI readiness can deploy AI automation faster and with lower risk.

The Readiness Gap

Research shows that 78% of companies have adopted AI in at least one function, but only 28% report having a clear AI governance policy. This "readiness gap" between AI adoption and AI governance is the primary risk factor for enterprise AI programs. Platforms like JieGou address the gap by providing governance infrastructure alongside automation capabilities.
