Starting from scratch is the enemy of adoption. When a sales team signs up for an AI automation platform, they don’t want to build 10 recipes from zero. They want recipes that already understand sales workflows — prospect research, cold email generation, deal risk analysis — ready to run on day one.
Department packs solve this. One click installs a complete set of recipes, workflows, playbooks, schedules, and integrations tailored to your team’s function.
20 packs, 132 recipes
JieGou ships packs for 20 departments: Sales, Marketing, Support, HR, Finance, Operations, Legal, Engineering, Executive, Product, Customer Success, Data & Analytics, IT & Security, Product Management, and R&D.
Each pack includes recipes, multi-step workflows, playbooks for complex orchestration, suggested schedules, and recommended integrations. Here’s what five of the packs contain:
| Department | Recipes | Workflows | Playbooks | Schedules | Integrations |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sales | 10 | 5 | 2 | 2 | Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Slack |
| Marketing | 10 | 5 | 2 | 2 | HubSpot, Notion, Slack, Google Sheets |
| Support | 8 | 4 | 2 | 1 | Intercom, Jira, Slack, Confluence |
| Engineering | 7 | 3 | 2 | 1 | GitHub, Jira, Linear, Slack |
| Finance | 8 | 4 | 2 | 2 | QuickBooks, Stripe, Google Sheets, Slack |
Across all 20 packs: 132 recipes, 60 workflows, 24 playbooks, and 25 suggested schedules.
What’s in the recipes
Each pack targets the actual work your team does daily. These aren’t generic “summarize text” templates — they’re purpose-built with department-specific prompts, input schemas, and output structures.
Sales: prospect-research, cold-email-generator, lead-qualification, discovery-call-prep, deal-risk-analyzer, follow-up-email-sequence, account-health-assessment
Marketing: seo-keyword-strategy, blog-post-outline, social-media-post-generator, email-campaign-copy, content-repurposer, ad-copy-generator
HR: job-description-generator, resume-screener, interview-question-generator, offer-letter-drafter, performance-review-writer
Engineering: tech-spec-writer, api-documentation-generator, incident-report-writer, runbook-generator, code-review-feedback
Every recipe ships with a detailed input schema (field descriptions, example values, validation rules) and a structured output schema so results are consistent and machine-readable.
How one-click install works
Click “Install Pack” and the system does six things:
-
Fetches tested templates from a shared template account. These are the same recipes that passed the Recipe Factory quality pipeline.
-
Creates full copies in your account. You own them completely — edit prompts, modify schemas, add steps, rename them. They’re yours.
-
Deduplicates against your existing library. Already imported the cold-email-generator last week? It gets skipped. The button updates to show “Complete Installation (X remaining)” if some items were previously imported.
-
Checks plan limits before installation. If your plan caps recipe count, the system verifies you have capacity before starting.
-
Remaps playbook references. Playbooks contain nodes that reference specific recipe and workflow IDs. During installation, every node is remapped to point to YOUR copies — not the template originals.
-
Creates a Mission grouping all installed items. This gives you a single dashboard view for tracking everything in the pack.
The entire install completes in seconds. No configuration wizards. No multi-step setup flows.
Auto-install during onboarding
You don’t even need to click the button. When you select your department during signup, the matching pack installs silently in the background. By the time you reach the dashboard, your recipes and workflows are already there.
This is the fastest path from signup to productive use. A new marketing hire opens JieGou for the first time and immediately sees a blog-post-outline recipe, a content-repurposer workflow, and a full content production playbook — without installing anything manually.
The Recipe Factory pipeline
Every recipe in a department pack goes through an automated quality pipeline before it reaches your account.
Step 1: Catalog. ~150 recipe specs define the title, department, input fields, output fields, and quality criteria for each template.
Step 2: Generate. An LLM produces the full recipe definition from each spec — prompt template, input schema with field descriptions, structured output schema.
Step 3: Test. Each generated recipe is executed against an LLM with synthetic test inputs covering typical cases and edge cases.
Step 4: Evaluate. An LLM-as-judge scores each recipe across schema compliance, completeness, actionability, format quality, and consistency. Each dimension gets a 0-100 score.
Step 5: Promote. Only recipes that pass the quality threshold are promoted to the template collection. Failing recipes are flagged for manual review.
The same pipeline exists for workflows, with additional evaluation criteria for inter-step data integrity and overall coherence.
The result: every recipe you install has been generated, executed, evaluated, and approved before you see it.
Customization after install
Department packs follow a copy-on-install model. Every item is a full copy in your account, so you can customize freely:
- Edit prompts — adjust tone, add context, change instructions to match your process
- Modify schemas — add fields, remove fields, change types and validation rules
- Restructure workflows — add steps, remove steps, change conditions and branching logic
Each recipe preserves its originalPromptTemplate field, so you can always revert to the factory version if an edit goes wrong. Setup guides ship with per-department customization tips — which fields to personalize first, which prompt sections to adapt for your brand voice.
Suggested schedules are shown but not auto-created. The pack recommends “run deal-risk-analyzer every Monday at 9am” but doesn’t create the schedule until you confirm it. You stay in control of what runs automatically.
Integration with template suggestions
Department packs don’t just sit in your library waiting to be discovered. When you describe what you want in natural language — “help me write a follow-up email for a stalled deal” — the suggestion engine searches pack recipes alongside demo templates.
Your department’s pack recipes get a 20% relevance boost in search results. If you’re on the Sales team and ask for email help, the sales pack’s follow-up-email-sequence ranks higher than a generic email template. The system knows your context and prioritizes accordingly.
