Sell managed AI ops.
Keep 25% of MRR.

Commission-only B2B sales role. We're a managed AI operations company replacing agencies for SMBs in 17 industries. Deals are $1,500-$10,000/mo MRR. You earn 25% MRR for 12 months on every customer you close, then 10% for year two.

The deal

Commission only. No salary. No draw. No cap.

Direct from our finance memo: 25% of MRR for year one, 10% for year two, 0% after. 6-month clawback if the customer churns. Paid monthly via Stripe as the customer pays. No upfront on annual ACV.

Year 1

25% MRR

On a $3,000/mo Growth-tier customer, that’s $750/mo or $9,000/year — for one closed deal.

Year 2

10% MRR

Trailing commission keeps you invested in expansion and retention. Year-1-only commission means reps abandon at month 12; we don’t want that.

Year 3+

0%

Clean exit: your book pays out for 24 months total, then renewal economics belong to JieGou. Standard for B2B managed services.

What 10 closes looks like

10 Growth-tier customers ($3,000/mo each) closed in your first year = $90,000 commission year 1 + $36,000 year 2 = $126,000 over 24 months. Closing rate matters more than activity volume — 10 right-fit closes beats 50 churners.

What you’re selling

Managed AI operations for SMBs. Customers pay us a flat monthly fee; we run their marketing, customer engagement, scheduling, and content across 13 channels. AI executes, humans review.

Who buys this?

  • • MSPs (5-50 client companies, $99-249/mo per their own customers)
  • • Home services (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical)
  • • Accounting / tax firms
  • • Veterinary practices
  • • Insurance agencies
  • • 12 more industries rolling out — talk to us about exclusivity

What you’re up against

  • • Their existing marketing agency ($3-8k/mo, manual, no after-hours)
  • • Inbound calls going to voicemail, lost leads
  • • Owner-operator doing 60+ hour weeks instead of running the business
  • • "AI is a toy" / "we already tried Zapier" / "we have a tool stack"

Who fits this role

We’ve thought hard about who succeeds in commission-only B2B sales. Read this honestly before applying.

✓ Green flags

  • • Closed B2B deals at $1,500–10,000/mo deal size
  • • Has worked commission-heavy roles before and stayed
  • • Brings Day-1 pipeline (existing relationships)
  • • Knows one of our buyers: agency AE, MSP sales, marketing-tech BDR-to-AE, fractional CMO
  • • Asks for terms in writing (signals professionalism, not desperation)

✗ Red flags (skip applying)

  • • First-time commission-only — usually doesn’t survive 6 months
  • • All experience is enterprise ($100K+ deals) — different motion
  • • All experience is sub-$500/mo SaaS — different motion the other way
  • • Need to earn $120K+ year one (our math doesn’t work for you; you’ll bail in 90 days)
  • • Already representing 4+ other companies — we get scraps
  • • Won’t share specific deal sizes or named customers (even redacted)

How we hire

Three rounds, ~2 hours total. Reference checks with two buyers you sold to (highest signal step). Then a 60-day trial milestone before full agreement.

1

Screening (30 min)

"Why commission-only?” Earnings target. Buyer experience. Discovery vs. pitch instinct. We listen for high agency + realistic comp expectations.

2

Capability test (45 min)

Mock-pitch JieGou Growth tier to a real buyer (us). We don’t help. Discovery quality, objection handling (we will hit you with “we already have an agency”), closing instinct. A rep who can’t book a follow-up in a mock won’t book one in real life.

3

References + 60-day trial (30 min + 60 days)

60-day trial milestone agreed up front: 10 discovery calls booked, 3 proposals sent, 1 close. Hit it → full agreement. Miss it → no hard feelings, we part ways. Reference calls go to two buyers you sold to.

Apply

We'll respond within 1 business day. Reference checks with two buyers you sold to are part of round 3 — start thinking about who you'd want us to call.

We're filtering on closed deals at $1.5–10K MRR. The more specific, the better.
